Non Volatile Perovskite Crystalline Memory
1997 Formed Non Volatile Technologies Pty Ltd to pursue work in Non Volatile Memory and RFID design. Involved with Fujitsu in promoting this memory technology. Provided engineering consultancy services to a number of medium sized firms. Developed a design that combined three different bus architectures, Serial, I2C and parallel into one memory chip. This meant that instead of having to have three separate mask sets and have three separate wafer runs, it was possible to combine all into one high volume run; setting the type of interface bus at pin-out. This invention had the potential to substantially reduce the cost of the memory.
